Healthy City Regional Partnership

The Center for Regional Change joined with the Sacramento Housing Alliance and its Coalition on Regional Equity and the Community Link to form the Healthy City Sacramento Regional Partnership and help bring the Healthy City mapping platform to the Sacramento region.

The Partnership focused on improving the ability of communities and organizations in the Sacramento region to use data and mapping tools in planning and advocacy efforts. Recognizing Healthy City as a unique, innovative and user-friendly resource for data and mapping capabilities, the Sacramento Region Partnership has committed to working with Healthy City to democratize the access to data, improve public policy through a better understanding of the issues, and increase referrals to community and social services. The Partnership will conduct outreach and training around the Healthy City Sacramento Region website to raise awareness about community conditions and policy and planning efforts for other community groups. The partnership will work to increase access to locally developed research and data.
